About the Role
- As a Lunch Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of pupils during the lunchtime period.
- Working closely with teaching staff and the wider school team, you will help create a calm, positive and inclusive environment both in the dining hall and on the playground.
- Supervising pupils during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting good manners.
- Supporting children while they eat and helping younger pupils where required.
- Organising and encouraging safe, inclusive playground games and activities.
- Monitoring pupil wellbeing and ensuring all children are safe at all times.
- Responding calmly and professionally to minor incidents and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming lunchtime environment.
- Supporting the school's behaviour, safeguarding and inclusion policies.
About You

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. Experience gained within schools, nurseries, sports coaching, childcare, holiday clubs, youth work or similar settings would be highly beneficial.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with children is desirable.
- A good standard of spoken and written English.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child welfare is advantageous.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is beneficial but not essential.
- The right to work in the UK.
