We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Scunthorpe. This is a rewarding role supporting pupils during the lunchtime period, helping to ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all learners.
Role
- Supervise pupils during lunch times, including in the dining hall, playground, or classrooms
- Support pupils with a range of SEN, including communication, social, and behavioural needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction
- Assist with basic care needs where appropriate
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
Ideal Candidate
- Is patient, calm, and compassionate
- Has experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting (desirable but not essential)
- Can work well as part of a team and follow school policies
- Is reliable and able to commit to the set lunchtime hours
