Are you a passionate and resilient Primary Teacher with experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist education setting in Leicestershire for an enthusiastic SEMH Primary Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to primary-aged pupils, creating a safe and supportive learning environment, and helping children overcome barriers to learning.
The successful teacher will be confident working with pupils who may present with challenging behaviour, additional needs and complex emotional or social needs.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Primary teaching experience
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs, SEND or challenging behaviour
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Resilience and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- A genuine commitment to helping children achieve their potential
