This is an opportunity for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a creative environment and helping students and teachers bring artistic ideas to life.
As an Art & Design Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the Art & Design department by:
- Preparing materials, equipment, and resources for practical lessons
- Maintaining art studios, workshops, and storage areas
- Supporting teachers with demonstrations and classroom activities
- Operating and maintaining specialist equipment and tools
- Managing stock levels and ordering materials when required
- Ensuring equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use
- Helping create inspiring displays of students' work across the school
Qualifications
- Passion for art, design, and creative learning
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Experience working with art materials, equipment, or creative environments
