Wraparound Care & Nursery Support Assistant Primary School | Plumstead, Greenwich

September Start | Full Academic Year

£16 - £18 per hour (dependent on experience)

The Role

  • Support the delivery of a safe, engaging and nurturing breakfast club provision.
  • Work within the Nursery class during the morning session, supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of fun and stimulating after-school club activities.
  • Promote children's social, emotional and physical development.
  • Ensure the wellbeing, safeguarding and supervision of all children at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 7:15am - 10:15am (Breakfast Club & Nursery Support)
  • 2:45pm - 6:15pm (After-School Club)
  • Term-time only

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or a related field (essential).
  • Experience working with Nursery or Early Years‐aged children.
  • A good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A warm, energetic and reliable approach.
  • A commitment to creating positive experiences for children before and after the school day.
