- What you'll be doing
- 1:1 and small group support: Work alongside students in lessons across the curriculum.
- Personalised learning: Help adapt resources and deliver interventions to meet individual EHCP targets.
- Behaviour and emotional support: Be a calm, consistent presence and help students develop social and self-regulation skills.
- Collaboration: Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and support staff to track progress.
- Enrichment: Support with break times, trips, and extra‑curricular activities.
What we're looking for
- Experience supporting secondary age students with SEN in a school setting.
- Patience, resilience, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Team player who can also use initiative.
- Team‑Teach or MAPA training is a bonus, but not essential. Training can be provided via The National College.
