SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary (North London)

Full-time, Permanent

Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

  • What you'll be doing
  • 1:1 and small group support: Work alongside students in lessons across the curriculum.
  • Personalised learning: Help adapt resources and deliver interventions to meet individual EHCP targets.
  • Behaviour and emotional support: Be a calm, consistent presence and help students develop social and self-regulation skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and support staff to track progress.
  • Enrichment: Support with break times, trips, and extra‑curricular activities.

What we're looking for

  • Experience supporting secondary age students with SEN in a school setting.
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Team player who can also use initiative.
  • Team‑Teach or MAPA training is a bonus, but not essential. Training can be provided via The National College.
