SEN Teaching Assistant - ARP Room Lead
£120 per day | Full-Time | September Start | 8:30am - 4:00pm SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a highly regarded and inclusive primary school in Camden seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to take on a Room Lead position within their Additional Resource Provision (ARP) from September.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and proactive SEN professional who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
The Role
- Lead and support the day-to-day running of the ARP classroom.
- Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals.
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism and communication difficulties.
- Deliver targeted interventions and structured learning activities.
- Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews, assessments, and planning.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous Early Years experience is essential.
- Significant experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- Experience working with pupils with Autism and complex needs.
- Confident leading small groups and supporting colleagues within the provision.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Passionate about inclusive education and making a difference to children's lives.
