SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support | Barnet | September Start

We are working with a welcoming mainstream school in Barnet that is seeking enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team from September.

The successful candidates will provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs across KS2, helping them access learning, build confidence and develop their independence within the classroom.

The Role

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
  • Work across KS2
  • Support pupils with their learning, engagement and social development
  • Help children access the curriculum and participate positively in school life
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to support individual needs

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Have previous experience working with children with additional needs
  • Ideally have experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or similar setting
