Pay: Β£16-Β£18 per hour (starting rate dependent on experience, with progression to the higher band for candidates with proven experience managing EHCPs, SEN systems, and statutory SEND processes independently)

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an organised and proactive SEN Administrator to join a highly inclusive secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea. This is a key role within the SEN team, providing vital administrative support to the SENCO and ensuring the smooth delivery of all SEND processes. The SEN Department Administrator will form the administrative backbone of the SEN department, ensuring accurate records, strong compliance with statutory requirements, and effective communication between staff, families, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain SEN registers, pupil records, and confidential files using MIS systems (SIMS/Bromcom or similar)
- Manage EHCP processes including annual reviews, amendments, and Local Authority liaison
- Support SEN Support Plans, pupil passports, and provision mapping
- Track interventions and maintain accurate SEN data
- Act as first point of contact for SEN enquiries from parents and external professionals
- Coordinate exam access arrangements in line with JCQ regulations
- Organise meetings, take minutes, and manage SEN deadlines and calendars
