Are you an organised, proactive, and friendly administrator looking for your next opportunity within a school environment? We are seeking a dedicated School Administrator to join a welcoming and supportive school team on a maternity cover contract, starting in September 2026. Successful candidates will be invited to attend a small number of paid handover days during August to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

The Role

As School Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school office, acting as a first point of contact for parents, visitors, staff, and pupils. You will provide efficient administrative support and help ensure the smooth operation of school systems and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Has previous administrative experience, ideally within a school, educational setting, or children's centre
  • Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
  • Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Has a professional and welcoming manner
  • Holds a valid Enhanced DBS certificate or is willing to obtain one
  • Is available to attend handover days in August and commence the role in September
