This is a strong opportunity to join a supportive Early Years team in a school with clear systems, established routines and a consistent approach to teaching and learning.
The school is a 2-form entry mainstream primary with a stable leadership team and a collaborative staff culture. - Clear behaviour systems embedded across the school
- Well-resourced indoor and outdoor learning environments
- Excellent transport links, including close proximity to the Elizabeth Line and local bus routes

The school is looking for someone who can integrate smoothly into their established pedagogy and maintain high standards of teaching and provision.
As Reception Teacher, you will:
- Take full class responsibility for one Reception class
- Deliver engaging, play-based and structured learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Assess and track pupil progress effectively
- Plan collaboratively with the parallel Reception teacher
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to phase discussions
- Support transition into Year 1 at the end of the academic year
If appointed as EYFS Lead (depending on experience), there may also be responsibility for supporting planning consistency, overseeing assessment moderation and contributing to Early Years development priorities.
The school is looking for a teacher who:
- Holds UK QTS
- Has strong, recent experience teaching in EYFS
- Understands early phonics development and early reading
- Can adapt confidently to an established teaching and learning approach
- Demonstrates strong classroom organisation and behaviour management
- Can commit for the full Summer Term
