Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Redbridge, who are seeking an experienced Reception 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2026. This is a full-time role working 32.5 hours per week, term time only, and offers a daily rate of £95-£105 PAYE depending on experience.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support within a Reception class, helping a child to access learning, develop confidence and make excellent progress throughout the academic year. The school is looking for a nurturing and proactive Teaching Assistant who has a genuine passion for supporting children in the Early Years. The school offers a supportive leadership team, a friendly staff environment and excellent opportunities for professional development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed Teaching Assistant looking to further develop their EYFS experience within a highly regarded Primary School.

Qualifications
  • Have a minimum of one year's experience as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Be confident supporting children within EYFS.
  • Have strong phonics knowledge and experience.
  • Be patient, enthusiastic and adaptable.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience delivering phonics support and assisting children with early communication and language development.
