Supply Primary Teacher - Hounslow

As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach across a range of well-run schools throughout Hounslow, including areas such as Chiswick, Brentford, Hounslow Central, Isleworth, Feltham, Heston, and Hanworth. This role is ideal for experienced teachers, ECTs, or overseas trained teachers looking for flexible work, better work-life balance, or the chance to experience a variety of school environments before committing to a long-term role.

Role Details

  • Role: Supply Primary Teacher - mainstream and independent schools
  • Start: Immediate / Ongoing
  • Contract: Flexible daily supply with opportunities for part-time, full-time, and long-term roles
  • Pay: £150 - £170 per day (PAYE). Long-term roles paid to scale (£180 - £260+ depending on experience)

The Role

As a supply teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
  • Maintain classroom routines and behaviour expectations
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments
  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
  • Provide feedback at the end of the school day
  • Represent Tradewind professionally within schools

There is no requirement for long-term planning or meetings in daily supply roles.

Requirements

  • Availability for at least 1 day per week

We work with schools across the Borough of Hounslow, including: Hounslow Central, Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth, Heston, Feltham, Lampton. Many schools are easily accessible via the National Rail, Piccadilly Line, and local bus routes. Several schools also offer on-site parking.
