Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher for a full-time position starting in September at a successful and inclusive secondary school based in Southwark. This is a fixed term contract for 1 full academic year and offers an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious teaching team committed to delivering outstanding education and achievement for all students.
The Client is looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 considered an advantage. The successful candidate will be passionate about raising attainment, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons
- Monitor student progress effectively
- Contribute to departmental planning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support student success
The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and possess a strong academic background in Mathematics or a related subject. This Client is seeking a professional with excellent classroom management skills, strong communication abilities, a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and a genuine passion for education.
