HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – Secondary SEN School | Southwark | September.
Working hours: Monday‑Friday, 8:30am‑4:00pm.

- Role
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons and interventions across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Support students with a range of special educational needs, including mental health needs.
- Work closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality learning experiences.
- Lead small group and one‑to‑one sessions to boost student progress and confidence.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working at HLTA level.
- Has experience supporting pupils with special educational needs, ideally in a secondary school setting.
- Has a subject specialism or strong background in English, Maths or Science.
- Is confident leading learning independently and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
- Is patient, resilient and committed to making a positive impact on young people’s lives.
