Tradewind Recruitment are pleased to be working with this Client, a successful and well-respected secondary school in Southwark, in their search for a talented and passionate History Teacher to join their thriving Humanities department from September. This is a full-time fixed term position for 1 full academic year, with interviews being arranged immediately.

The successful History Teacher will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate. You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative Humanities team committed to delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of History and develop critical thinking skills.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History
- Be able to deliver engaging, differentiated and challenging lessons
- Have strong classroom management skills and high expectations of student achievement
- Be committed to supporting the academic and personal development of all pupils
- Work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to the wider school community
