Are you an experienced and dedicated HLTA looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Hounslow, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties. This is a rewarding and impactful role where your expertise, initiative, and commitment will directly contribute to pupils' academic progress, behaviour, and overall wellbeing.
The Role:
- Support teachers in planning and delivering structured lessons for SEN pupils
- Lead small group and 1:1 interventions to reinforce learning
- Assist pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social development
- Supervise and mentor other support staff where required
- Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in a SEN or inclusive setting
- Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience
- Is confident managing challenging behaviour and implementing behaviour strategies
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Is patient, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education
- Holds or is willing to obtain a Child and Adult DBS
