Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Camden that is looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to develop their classroom skills while working alongside experienced teachers in a supportive school environment.
You’ll support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering targeted interventions, assisting in lessons, and helping children reach their full potential.
The Role
- Support class teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups
- Help children build confidence and make academic progress
- Support pupils with SEND where required
- Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour management
- Gain invaluable experience ahead of teacher training or a career in education
The Ideal Candidate
- A degree in any subject
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- Experience working with children (through tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering or schools) is desirable but not essential
