We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Girls PE Teacher to join a successful secondary academy for girls in Tower Hamlets. The role is full‑time, starting in September on a fixed‑term contract for one academic year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive Physical Education lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4
- Promote healthy lifestyles and support the physical well‑being of all pupils
- Assess and monitor student progress and encourage participation and achievement across a range of sports and activities
- Contribute to extracurricular sports and school competitions
- Play an active role within the wider PE department and contribute positively to the school community
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Relevant degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related subject
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Enthusiasm to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
