Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with this client, a well-regarded 11-18 mixed comprehensive secondary school in Lambeth, to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and keen to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with Key Stage 5 opportunities depending on experience).

Contract: Maternity cover
Salary: London MPS
Working pattern: Full-time (part-time may be considered for the right candidate)
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Promote curiosity and critical thinking about the world and its people.
- Assess, track and support pupil progress effectively.
- Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a genuine passion for Geography and education.
- Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management.
- Be reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with pupils.
- Be adaptable and enthusiastic in a fast-paced school environment.
You should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Geography or a closely related subject.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs are welcome to apply).
