Seeking a proactive and compassionate SEN Classroom Support Assistant to join supportive schools across Camden. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable SEN experience whilst supporting pupils with a range of additional learning, communication and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group intervention support.
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
- Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Speech & Language needs.
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
- Encourage engagement, participation and independence.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience within education, childcare or support work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Patient, resilient and positive approach.
- Ability to follow structured support plans.
- Passion for supporting children with SEN.
- Camden (or locally) based.
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Pay: £95 PAYE per day
