Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a part-time PPA / cover teacher to join a 2-form entry primary school in Hayes. The role is flexible, with 3-5 days per week depending on your availability, and will involve providing classroom cover while supporting the school's PPA schedule.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or confident ECTs who want flexibility while gaining consistent classroom experience in a supportive environment.

As a PPA / cover teacher, you will:

  • Deliver lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as required.
  • Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and provide cover for absent teachers.
  • Support pupils' learning and engagement during your cover sessions.
  • Represent the school professionally and positively at all times.

There is no expectation for long-term planning, marking, or administrative duties beyond your cover lessons.

The school is looking for candidates who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have experience teaching in UK primary schools, ideally across multiple year groups.
  • Can commit to 3-5 days per week, starting ASAP.
