Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with this Client, a successful and inclusive secondary school based in Newham, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their thriving English department from September. This is a full-time Permanent / Fixed Term opportunity offering a salary on the London MPS/UPS scale, with interviews to be arranged immediately.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The role will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons that challenge and engage students
  • Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a relevant degree in English or a related subject

  • Have experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Be committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning
  • Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Be dedicated to supporting student achievement and wellbeing
