Tradewind are supporting a two form entry primary school based in the Sutton area, who require an Early Years Teaching Assistant with at least a Level 2 qualification. The position is supporting in their Nursery class in the morning and Reception class in the afternoon, providing support across their Early Years department. The hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm.
We are looking for caring and proactive individuals who can support young children during these vital early stages of development. This role will involve:
- Supporting learning through play
- Assisting with phonics and early communication
- Encouraging social and emotional development
- Providing tailored support for children with additional needs
Qualifications:
- Level 2 qualification MINIMUM
- Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (CACHE)
- Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)
- Level 3 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development
- Level 3 Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy - Birth to 7
- Level 3 Diploma in Playwork
- Level 3 Award/Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (STLS)
Pay:
- £93 per day for candidates with a minimum of 3 months experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care or SEND setting.
- £100 per day for candidates who hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have over 12 months previous experience supporting pupils with SEND including ASC, ADHD, SEMH or SLD or experience with personal care.
