We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to work full-time across a range of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools in Bromley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people to overcome behavioural, emotional, and social barriers to learning. You will play a key role in helping students develop positive behaviour, resilience, and confidence, both inside and outside the classroom.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural, emotional, or social needs
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students and act as a consistent role model
- Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, pastoral teams, and external professionals
- Support behaviour strategies, interventions, and reintegration plans
- Contribute to a calm, safe, and supportive school environment
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students (school, youth work, mentoring, or similar)
- A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A genuine commitment to inclusion and student wellbeing
- Ability to work full-time, 5 days per week
