About the role: Help drive excellent attendance and punctuality across a well-run secondary school. You will combine data-led routines with compassionate family liaison to remove barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily attendance, lateness and patterns using the school MIS
  • Make first-day calls, home visits (with a colleague) and coordinate reintegration plans
  • Produce weekly reports for Heads of Year and SLT with clear actions
  • Work restoratively with students to set achievable attendance goals

Requirements:

  • School attendance/welfare or similar community experience
  • Confident with MIS (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom) and Excel
  • Clear, professional communication with students and families
  • Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (training provided)
