Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic Psychology Graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in welcoming Primary schools in North Liverpool. The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. These roles will involve supporting children in a one-to-one capacity, helping to create a positive learning environment and providing valuable academic and emotional support. These positions start ASAP and have the potential to run for the rest of the academic year - ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in education, particularly those considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, or child development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support for pupils either individually or in groups
- Support the activities of individuals or groups of children
- Participate in the education of children, including contributing to their health and well-being
- Support children with special needs (if appropriate to the focus of the role)
- Support to the teacher(s)
- Provide support for learning activities by:
- supporting the teacher in the planning and evaluation of learning activities
- supporting the delivery of learning activities
- promoting school policies with regards to pupil behaviour
- supporting the implementation of strategies to manage pupil behaviour
