Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a South Liverpool Secondary School. This role offers the chance to make a real difference to children's learning and development in a welcoming school environment.
The Role
- Provide general classroom support
- Work with small groups of pupils with additional needs, including Autism and ADHD supporting their learning and engagement
- Providing intervention delivery to low attaining students
- Assist teachers with planning, preparing resources, and managing group activities
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The successful candidate
- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
- Have experience supporting children with SEN or additional learning needs
- Be patient, adaptable, and proactive in supporting learners of all abilities
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff
