Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to work at a secondary setting in South Liverpool.
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Role Overview: This is a full-time laboratory support role, primarily focused on Chemistry, with involvement across all science disciplines. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting practical science lessons and maintaining a safe, well-organised laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing equipment, materials, and solutions for practical lessons
- Providing laboratory support mainly for Chemistry, with some work across other sciences
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Cleaning, maintaining, and organising laboratory spaces and equipment
- Supporting teaching staff during practical sessions
Requirements:
- Previous laboratory experience or relevant science qualification (Chemistry preferred)
