Are you a compassionate and ambitious HLTA looking for rewarding roles? We are seeking experienced and passionate HLTAs for our Liverpool based primary schools. These roles have a daily rate of up to £120 per day, offering the opportunity to thrive in some of Liverpool's best primary schools.
Responsibilities:
- Fully support and comply with all school's safeguarding policies and practices.
- Provide short term cover in absence of teachers with professional guidance and support from key stage lead.
- Work with individual/small groups to provide personalised provision for pupils.
- Complement teachers' delivery of the national curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils and school policies and strategies.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
- Provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils (e.g. SEN, PP, EAL & all underachieving groups).
- Fully support the teaching and learning strategy implemented by the school and advocate this at all times.
- Support the school on its improvement journey.
Personal Qualities:
- Excellent and innovative classroom practice with the skills and knowledge to develop and support teachers in the delivery of outstanding learning in the classroom and wider school.
- Skill-set and confidence to take classes for PPA and when short term cover is required.
- Able to lead interventions and evaluate their impact on pupil's progress and attainment.
- HLTA status or QTS.
- Meet the HLTA standards or equivalent.
- An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
