Tradewind Recruitment are collaborating with a school located in Grimsby that is seeking an enthusiastic, full-time Design Technology Teacher with a heavy emphasis on Food Technology. The school's vision is to provide the highest quality of education to pupils and provide the opportunities to exceed inside and outside of the classroom. The role starts ASAP and is expected to last until the end of the school year.
In this position, you will be required to do the following:
- Plan, prepare and teach high-quality Food tech lessons across Y7 - Y13.
- Provide pupils with exciting and creative tasks that are aligned with the curriculum.
- Play a key role in shaping the SOW and driving improvements in students' outcomes.
- Assess students and monitor progress of students.
- Uphold high expectations and follow Safeguarding policies.
During your placement, Tradewind Recruitment will support you with CPD opportunities, a consultant that offers opportunities, and competitive rates.

- A strong knowledge of DT and QTS.
- Experience working in a secondary school.
- Child-only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to undertake one).
- Satisfactory References.
- Right to work in the UK.
This role has the potential to be paid to scale which is a range between £168.80 - £232.56.
