We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Leyland that is seeking an enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role for the Autumn Term, with the possibility of the position being extended as the school is considering recruiting on a longer-term basis.

The Role
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons across different year groups in line with the National Curriculum.
- Cover classes while teachers are released for their PPA time.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different pupils and abilities.
- Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Establish strong relationships with pupils and maintain effective classroom management.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and colleagues to ensure consistency and the best outcomes for pupils.
- Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings, and other school events as required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching across the primary age range, including placements for ECTs.
- Is confident teaching different year groups and adapting quickly to new classrooms.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
- Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is flexible, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
