Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a vibrant mainstream primary school? We are seeking a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and forward-thinking team.
About the Role
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience)
- Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Provide in-class support to enhance learning and engagement
- Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
- Contribute to planning, assessment and pupil progress tracking
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND
- Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment
What We Are Looking For
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working within a mainstream primary setting
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/4+ in English and Maths or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, flexible and nurturing approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
