Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Leyland? Tradewind are working with a welcoming Primary School in Leyland who are looking to appoint a Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026. This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The school is committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

We are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all pupils

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained. You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
