Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Leyland? Tradewind are working with a Primary School in Leyland who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time within their Reception class, to support on a 1:1 basis. The role is a long-term temporary position starting in September and will run until December 2026, with the potential to be extended.

The school are looking for someone who has previous experience working with children who display challenging behaviour or who has worked extensively with learners with complex needs, including ADHD and Autism. This school offers an inspirational environment where creative learning is encouraged, and an innovative attitude is a must.

We are looking for:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained. You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
