Are you an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner ready to step into a Room Leader role, or an existing Room Leader looking for a beautiful new setting in the heart of Fulham? We are working with a lovely, high-quality nursery in Fulham that is warm, welcoming, and extremely well-resourced. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead within a supportive leadership team where children, staff wellbeing, and high-quality early years practice are genuinely valued.
This is a Level 3 essential role, with Room Leader responsibility requiring strong EYFS knowledge and confident leadership within the nursery room.
About the roleAs a Room Leader, you will take responsibility for leading a nursery room and supporting a team of Level 3 practitioners to deliver exceptional EYFS practice. You will ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally. You will plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning, oversee observations and assessments using Development Matters, and ensure children's learning journeys reflect strong progress across all seven areas of learning. You will also work closely with parents and carers, and support inclusive practice for children with SEND and EAL, working alongside senior leadership where required.
What we are looking for (Level 3 essential)- Level 3 Early Years qualification (ESSENTIAL)
- Strong experience in EYFS nursery settings
- Previous Room Leader experience or strong readiness to step up
- Confident leadership and ability to support a team
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and Development Matters
- Experience with observations, planning, and learning journeys
- Understanding of SEND and EAL support
- Warm, professional, and confident communicator
