Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a friendly and supportive school in Kettering to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with a recognised TA qualification who is passionate about supporting pupils' learning and development in the classroom.
The Role:
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to access learning
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Help support pupils with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH where required
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Is patient, adaptable, and proactive
- Confident supporting learning and behaviour
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
