Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and supportive small primary school in Waltham Forest that is seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join its dedicated team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for passionate and committed Learning Support Assistants who have a strong background in supporting young children with additional learning needs within Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
The successful candidates will work closely with class teachers and the school's SEN team to provide targeted support for pupils displaying a range of learning difficulties and special educational needs, including Speech and Language needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Global Developmental Delay.
The role will involve both one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils to access learning, develop social skills, and achieve their full potential within a nurturing classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant within a primary school setting

- Be confident working independently and as part of a wider team
- Have a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
