Tradewind recruitment are currently looking for several SEND specialist Teaching Assistants to work in Mainstream Primary Schools in South Liverpool, to provide support to a diverse range of students. We are currently working with several welcoming and inclusive primary schools to support their pupils in the classroom. The roles are likely to be in 1:1 settings, working with one or multiple students to support and nurture their learning and development. Experience previously supporting children in a Support or Educational environment is essential with relevant qualifications desired.

The Role:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of SEN needs
  • Assist in developing and delivering individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Support pupils with autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and other learning challenges
  • Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or educational setting
  • An understanding of safeguarding and the ability to follow school policies
  • A relevant qualification in education or SEN is advantageous but not essential
  • A warm and supportive school environment
