Learning Support Assistant – Milton Keynes & Surrounding Areas (via Tradewind Recruitment)
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of partner schools in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas . This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are committed to making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and who are looking to build a rewarding career within education.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access the curriculum, develop their confidence, and reach their full potential. Our partner schools include mainstream primary and secondary schools, specialist provisions, and alternative settings, offering a wide variety of experiences depending on your skills and preferences.
Your role will involve supporting students on a one-to-one basis or within small groups, assisting with differentiated learning activities, promoting positive behaviour, and helping pupils to develop both academically and socially. You may support children with a range of needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
