Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for enthusiastic and skilled Law Lecturer to work with a fantastic college in Hull, on a full time basis (35 hours per week). This is to start as soon as possible, and will last until at least May half term. Payment for this temporary position will be between 22 and 35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Working hours for this position are 8:30 to 4:00PM.

The College is located centrally in Hull, and is extremely easy to access via public transport from all areas of the city, or from outside of the city on the train. Parking is available, with limited spaces, but a large car park is nearby which always has ample spaces and is easy to access.

The college is very proud of its social sciences department and have a strong cohort of students interested in taking the courses. You will be responsible for planning and delivering BTEC Level 2 and 3 applied Law. Ability to teach Criminology to Level 2 and 3 students is ideal but not essential for this role. Full planning and marking is expected for this position, but there are plenty of resources on file for the successful candidate to simply review and amend.

  • Has a PGCE, Cert Ed, or similar qualification
  • Has experience working in schools/colleges in the UK
  • Has a relevant Level 3 in Law/an appropriate subject
  • Have experience working within schools in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the full CV History
  • Legal right to work in the UK
