Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and creative Teacher of Art for a full-time opportunity at a welcoming secondary school in West Lancashire. This exciting short-term role is due to begin on 9th June 2026 and will continue until 17th July 2026.

The school is looking for an enthusiastic Art specialist who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage creativity, confidence, and artistic development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be committed to supporting students of all abilities
  • Hold a Child Workforce DBS Certificate or a willingness to obtain one
