The Role
- Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (all specialisms-Biology, Chemistry, and Physics-are welcome).
- Plan and prepare high-quality resources that cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Assess student progress and use data to inform future planning and interventions.
- Maintain a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and building strong rapport with students.
- Contribute to the wider school community, attending departmental meetings and parents' evenings where required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the Science curriculum.
- Proven track record of raising student attainment and engagement.
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to fit seamlessly into an established team.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
