Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and well-established Secondary School in Bolton that is seeking an experienced School Receptionist to join their front office team as soon as possible. This is a busy, varied role that sits at the heart of the school. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, staff and pupils, and will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school's reception and administrative functions.

The Role
- Welcoming visitors and ensuring safeguarding and sign-in procedures are followed
- Managing a busy reception area and answering incoming calls professionally
- Handling parent and pupil enquiries with discretion and efficiency
- Admin support including attendance, data entry and general school administration
- Liaising with staff, senior leaders and external agencies
- Supporting the smooth running of the school day in a fast-paced environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience working in a school or education setting (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, professional manner and the ability to multitask
- Strong organisational and IT skills
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
