Behaviour Mentor - Full-Time | Lambeth

Are you an experienced and passionate Behaviour Mentor looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive school environment?

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a lovely school in Lambeth, working full-time, 5 days per week.

The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting children and young people with behavioural needs, alongside a strong understanding of behaviour management and strategies that promote positive outcomes.

A degree is preferred, and this role would suit someone who is passionate about making a real difference to pupils' lives and helping them reach their full potential.

The school offers a welcoming and nurturing environment, alongside excellent opportunities for professional development, growth and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.

Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and act as a consistent role model.

Implement effective behaviour management strategies and personalised support plans.

Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and the wider pastoral team to support pupil progress.

Help pupils develop emotional regulation, resilience, confidence and positive social skills.

Monitor behaviour and contribute to identifying strategies that promote positive change.

Encourage pupils to engage positively with learning and the wider school community.
