Tradewind is working with an excellent school as they look to recruit a Key Stage 1 Teacher to take on either a Year 1 or Year 2 class from September!
- Primary Teacher - Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or 2 available)

The full-time role in Key Stage 1 will start in September 2025 and last until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to take on a permanent role based on performance. Due to the current set up at the school, there is an opportunity to teach in Year 1 or 2 based on preference. Upon successful appointment, you will be paid a competitive rate based on your experience.
The headteacher is looking for a Year 2 teacher who will be able to build supportive relationships with families that will enhance the children's learning experience.
Key Stage 1 teachers will:
- Plan and teach a balanced and diverse curriculum alongside colleagues
- Assess, track, and report on the pupil's attainment and personal development
- Establish a clear routine for pupils
- Encourage pupils to engage with learning through targeted questioning
- Establish positive relationships with parents and carers
- Provide a caring and supportive learning environment
We are looking for applicants who:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status - a completed induction is not necessary and can be provided
- Are committed to providing creative and inspiring learning experiences
