A well-established primary school in Bedford is currently seeking a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a warm and inclusive setting where teamwork and creativity are encouraged, and pupil well-being is a priority.

You will be working as part of a large KS1 team who value collaboration and teamwork above all else. The successful applicant will be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile to support their colleagues.

This role will be temporary to start with but for the strongest candidates, this can lead to full-time employment with the school.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

• Take full responsibility for the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum

• Create a nurturing and supportive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, resilience, and independence

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional support requirements

• Contribute to the wider life of the school through involvement in planning, events, and team collaboration

• Use assessment to inform teaching and help all children achieve their full potential

The ideal candidate will have the following;

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (including strong ECT applications)

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• Are reflective practitioners who are open to feedback and continuous improvement

• Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and families
