Join our team as an Employability Tutor at a reputable college in Hull. We are seeking a motivated individual to work with students who are not in employment, training, or education. The successful candidate will create a positive and motivational environment to help students achieve qualifications and pursue employment opportunities in the future. This is a part-time, temporary position.
Key Duties:
- Deliver engaging sessions to support students in developing employability skills.
- Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students, including CV writing and interview preparation.
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver innovative employability programs.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and encouragement.
- Liaise with external agencies and employers to arrange work placements and job opportunities.
- Organise workshops and events to enhance students' employability prospects.
Requirements:
- Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have experience working within schools in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- CV must cover the full CV history.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
