Design Technology & Art Teacher | Kettering

Start June or September 2026 | Full-Time | Permanent Preferred, Long-Term Supply & Fixed-Term options considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and practical Design Technology and Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking in the classroom.
  • Support students in developing technical, practical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Create a safe, organised, and inspiring learning environment within workshops and studios.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive Creative Arts/Technology department.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Design Technology and/or Art within UK secondary schools.
  • Confidence teaching at least one DT or Art specialism.
  • Strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for creative education and student development.
