The Role
As a Music Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire students through both practical and theoretical music education. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging lessons that encourage creativity, confidence and a genuine love of music. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging theory and practical Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching desirable.
- Creating innovative and inclusive lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
- Supporting and contributing to school concerts, recitals and musical events.
- Working collaboratively with the Music Department and wider school team.
- Attending departmental meetings and parents evenings when required.
- Helping students develop their musical skills, confidence and passion for the subject.
